Wrap uses premium 3M vinyl wrap with a 7 year durability rating and 5 years with no fading.
No Adhesive Residue
Our graphics will never harm the object’s surface and, in most cases, actually protect your surface from everyday wear and tear. All of our graphics can be removed without leaving residue.
Unlike other vinyl products, cast vinyl provides better print quality and materials free of edge lifting, peeling, cracking and pulling away.
Durable Vinyl Wrap to Disguise and Protect Your Shotgun, Rifle, or Muzzleloader.
Our camo gun wrap uses state-of-the-art print technology to produce high definition camouflage patterns and cast materials. Don’t pay hundreds of dollars for a factory dipped camo package. Get the utility of camouflage and the versatility of being able to inexpensively change patterns based on your intended use. Wrap comes standard in a matte finish, making it ideal for use in the field.
Our gun wrap comes pre-cut with various pieces to allow for easy installation. Material is highly conformable and uses air release technology to provide a clean, bubble-free installation. Material is removable when desired and won’t leave behind an adhesive residue. Works for most barrels 29″ or shorter.
10 Gauge Shotguns: Consider adding a scope skin to your order for complete coverage of your gun and finish off the forend or barrel.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide:
Step 1. Disassemble the gun.
Step 2. Clean the gun thoroughly, removing any oils with a wax/grease remover. Loosen recoil pad to help with trimming the skin.
Step 3. Start with the stock piece. Line it up and space evenly from top to bottom. Peel back and adjust if needed. Gently push down on the material with your hands and flatten it to the surface, working your way all around the piece. Certain areas with more curves will need to be stretched and conformed slightly—heat the portion and form to the curves.
Step 4. Trim off excess at the edges using an X-Acto knife or razor blade. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the next piece: the receiver. (Proceed from one end of the gun to the other to line up the edges.) Trim areas with grooves.
Step 5. After installation: Once gun is reassembled, apply heat and firm pressure over the graphics to reduce internal stress on the vinyl and ensure proper adhesion. Keep product stored above 60 °F for as long as possible after application—at least 12 hours is ideal—before exposing it to either cold or wet climates. This will strengthen the adhesive bond.
Awesome product. Highly recommend. NO peeling at ALL. Guns looks dipped. Everyone thinks it’s dipped. See pics after 3 seasons of abuse.Put on Browning Gold hunter with wood stock three duck seasons ago and hunted mostly every weekend in saltwater marsh. Hard gun use, soaked in rain, freezing temps, hot weather, locked in hot car, cleaned with rem oil, pushed through brush and reeds, mud, etc and there is absolutely no peeling or issues at all.Take your time and apply it right. Clean gun and polish off all oil with dry cloth. Use hair dryer or heat gun then immediately apply. Stretch and smooth with more heat. Use dry towel and hands to press on hard and smooth repeatedly.I got this for my Stoeger M3000 Shotgun. They give you plenty of material to use. It gets tricky around the curves so you have to use heat and some relief cuts depending on how smooth you want to get the material to lay. I'm on the impatient side so I probably could've done a better job but overall I'm satisfied with how I did it. There is a video out by the manufacturer that I recommend watching prior to your installation. Oh and don't forget to use an exacto knife which I purchased along with it.Gun looks awesome. I recently got my great uncles shotgun in near perfect condition and wanted to use it this turkey season and needed a way to protect it.I would have given it 5 stars if the barrel wasn’t short both in length and width. It wasn’t enough to warrant returning, but I did have to use a scrap piece to fill in the fatter, tapered end of the barrel. I left the length short right at the end of the rib (you can see the black ring in the pic). The receiver pieces were also short on my browning a500g. I cut those along the grooves on the top so there’s a black strip left uncovered. I wish it came in one piece.Wrapping around the curves is tedious, time consuming work. It took hours to finish everything using a heat gun and pulling everything tight so there are virtually no wrinkles or bubbles.Overall, nice product! This product is a PAIN to handle and install. I believe after several uses a person may become very efficient with the wrap, but that means to me it is not as simple as advertised. I'll leave my very honest opinion and insight to hopefully help others.Once the pain of installation is done this product literally transforms your gun! I am very pleased with how it looks on my bird gun! My buddies thought I bought a new shotgun. Almost all of the air bubbles resided after the install and the only creases were where the material over lapped. You do lose some grip one the gun because of the wrap, not enough to complain about. The reason I could not give it a 5 star rating was due to the materials inability to withstand the heat of the hot gun after the install. I went to a pigeon shoot and was really proud of my gun. I shot often and well that day. After 5 boxes of shells the gun gets hot [Duh]. Much to my dismay, the wrap began to come "un-glued" to the barrel of the gun around the muzzle, foregrip, and the vented rib. I tried to ignore it but when a buddy used it and brought it back pointing out the flaw I was over it. If you put this on a gun and you don't plan on running to the point of getting hot you'll be fine. But to me, its on a gun and I had hoped (not using common since) that it would hold up to my idea of typical use.1st, the instructions tell you to clean all surfaces of oil before you apply... and they mean it. It seems taboo to do this to your firearm, but it is a must. Use your favorite oil cleaner as long as its not abrasive to any of the surfaces. If there is any oil, or even residue, it will effect the adhesive.2nd, leave yourself at least 3 hours to do this. It is very tedious so take your time if you want it done right.3rd, measure TWICE, cut ONCE. There is a little material to spare and you can use to fill in gaps but it makes this even harder and more time consuming. Also, when making cuts where material overlaps, make your cut a wavy line cute rather than a straight line. This helps the pattern transition and really decreases the visibility of the crease and overlap.4th, HEAT IS YOUR FRIEND!!! Use a hairdryer or heatgun to "warm" the material and surface when applying. This will help you stretch the material into place because you will never be able to make perfect cuts with this stuff. Just don't get crazy with the heating and stretching, it will MELT the material and it will loose its adhesive. When you are all done, hit with more heat and give it some final touches. I did a Ruger 10/22 as well as my 11-87 and had good results by leaving the gun in the hot car all day the next day to help the material set in and memorize its surface.
Used on a Remington 870 Express Magnum with vent ribbed barrel. Cleaned and degreased the firearm befire application. This comes in a precut template divided to conform to different parts on the shotgun. The barrel piece does not fully cover my barrel that has a vented barrel. However, I pieced together some left over scrap pieces to cover the vent. The other issue is that the piece for the foreend did not fully cover it, I just left what little bit wasn't covered. All in all, it's pretty good. Just not as well as expected for my exact application. It stuck to the wood stock and steel barrel and steel reciever. It also shrunk well and adhered with very few bubbles....as long as I did my part. I would buy again. This was the first time I wrapped anything, and I was a bit nervous going into the project. In the end, I was surprised at how easy it was and how good the results were. The vinyl (or whatever material it is) is tacky so that it stays in place but is not tacky enough to prevent you from peeling it back up and fixing your mistakes. You do have to get a little creative with heavily-contoured areas of the gun, especially around the grip, but the vinyl is very workable especially when you heat it up with a hair dryer.Take your time with the wrap. The more attention you put into the details, the better the finished result will be. If you see a spot that doesn't look great, simply peel it back up and redo that particular section. This stuff is really forgiving and easy to work with.
